Presidents Message

Message from the President

Dear members and Supporters,

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as President of the Policewomen’s Endowment Association (PEA). PEA stands as a symbol of strength, unity, and advocacy for the women of the NYPD. Our mission is to uplift, support, and empower one another—because when one of us succeeds, we all succeed.

As women in law enforcement, we walk the path paved by the courageous trailblazers who came before us. Their sacrifices and perseverance have opened doors for us, and it is our duty to carry that legacy forward. Through mentorship, advocacy, and unwavering support, PEA remains committed to ensuring that every woman in this department is valued, respected, and equipped to thrive.

PEA is more than just an organization—it is a family. It is a place where friendships are formed, challenges are met with solidarity, and achievements are celebrated. Whether you are beginning your career or have years of experience, know that you are never alone—we stand together.

Thank you for your dedication to this profession and for the strength you bring to our department. Let’s continue breaking barriers, lifting each other up, and making a lasting impact.

Stay safe, stay strong, and stay connected.

Erica Bukowiecki
